U11 program

The under 11 (U11) program is specifically developed for players age from 10 to 11 years (born in 2014 and 2015).

In this program we focus on motor skills such as running movement, balancing and ball control. We also have lots of fun playing modified netball games.

Players learn to play as a team and be a team player and we join as many carnivals and leagues as possible.

Beginners aged 11 will need to join the Novice program first as the U11 program is for more advanced players. Beginning 11 year old players can also start in the U10 program.

Cost

The program follows the school calendar and the year is divided into 4 terms. Registration is for one term, followed by quarterly renewals. Players can join anytime unless the registration is closed.

The program fee for one term is $380 for 1 term (10 sessions of 2 hours). New players need to purchase an attire of $60 and there is a one time administration fee of $30. Terms & Conditions apply.

Program fees can be prorated at $43 per session when you let us know before the start of a term which sessions the player is not able to join. Once joined the first session, full or agreed fees apply. The minimum number of sessions for a term is 7. Terms & Conditions apply.

Attire

The Singapore Netball Academy Attire is Red-white in color. The T-shirt is white with our logo printed on the front and the text "Singapore Netball Academy" printed on the back. The shorts are red with our logo printed on the front. The socks are white with SGNA logo on both sides. This attire is mandatory for all players in the academy. The cost of 1 set is $60 to be paid at the first session.

Trial

We do not provide trial classes. Trial classes are very difficult to organize as we need to rent a court and provide coaches. The reality is that we have to decide on a timing that is convenient for everyone where everyone has their own schedule and no one finally is able to attend the trial classes at the same time. The option to join a running program for 1 session is not feasible as this will disturb the program continuously, something we want to prevent as the players in the program have the right to get the full attention of the coaches. Our advice is to watch one of the sessions and try at least for 1 term (10 sessions) to find out if you or your daughter likes Netball.

Alternatively you might want the player to join the Afterschool program on Thursday & Friday 5-7pm for a trial session. After a successful trial you can register for another program.

Venue

Our venue in the west is Methodist Girls' School (MGS), in the North is Kranji Primary School (KPS) and our venues in the east are OCBC Arena and Tanjong Katong Secondary School (TKSS). When venues are not available we will use OCBC Arena or Kallang Netball Centre.
