As Cyrus Medora steps down from his role as Chief Executive Officer of Netball Singapore, we at the Singapore Netball Academy (SGNA) wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude for his immense contributions over the past 19 years, including the 9 years of unparalleled support he has given to our academy.
Under Cyrus’s visionary leadership, netball in Singapore has flourished. His tenure has been marked by remarkable growth, both in grassroots participation and elite-level competition. The crowning achievement of his leadership came this year when Singapore clinched the Asian Netball Championship—a testament to the discipline, determination, and excellence he has nurtured within the netball community.
Cyrus has always been a steadfast supporter of our academy, inspiring us with his dedication to fostering talent, creating opportunities, and ensuring that Singapore remains a strong competitor at both the international and Asian levels. His unwavering commitment has left an indelible mark on the sport, enabling netball to become not just a game but a platform for personal growth, community building, and national pride.
We are immensely grateful for the partnership, guidance, and encouragement Cyrus has provided us over the years. His contributions have laid a strong foundation for netball's continued success, and his impact will be felt for generations to come.
